1st of all, lol, Acetametaphin is in tylonal. So whoever said below that tylonal is worse than acetametaphin, doesn`t know what they`re talking about. Tylonal is easier on your stomach that Motrin (which contains ibprophin). I would recommend ibprophin over tylonal for a high fever though. For a low fever tylonal should be fine. If stomach problems are present, tylonal is probably better. It`s easier on the digestive track and stomach than ibprophin. Hope this helps.

Paracetamol, or Acetam- inophen/Acetam- etaphin is the source of the Brand name Tyl- enol and has a lighter effect than aspirin. Motrin/Ibuprofen may cause Heart and Intestinal problems with long durations of use. I just read Jesse James interview, have a spliting headace now, and have to research all this???

Ibuprofen is not harmful for the liver. It is rather more of a concern to the kidneys. Do not take too much of any medication. Right now, I would only trust Aspirin. There was an alert that went out today from CNN about Children`s Tylenol, Infants Tylenol, Tylenol Cold, Motrin and Benedril made by McNeil (Johnson & Johnson). The drugs were recalled January 1 and April 30 because of serious side effects. These were caused by some form of pollution in the drug. Some other chemical got in that has caused 775 people to be adversely affected. They are also investigating 30 deaths related to the recalled drug. Has anyone taken any of these drugs and had a reaction?
