Gluten Free: Pasta comes in both wheat semolina and rice. I use rice pasta because I don`t digest gluten very well. It actually tastes very good.

You can but you shouldn`t, although a wholemeal food which is good for your digestive system, bread in any form has many carbohydrates. Gluten Free Rice Bread Recipe: I have a good gluten free rice bread recipe and that is 2 c. white rice flour, 1/2 c rice bran, 1/2 c. each chopped dried apricots, dried cranberries, chopped almonds. 1/4 c. tapioca, and 1 tsp salt. Add enough water to make into a thick cake like batter. Add 1 tsp soda, mix and pour into a bread pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. When bread is cold, slice and freeze. This is a surprisingly good bread.

The best rice pasta is the white rice spaghetti, extra smooth. It is manufactured in Scarborough and it is called Tynkyada. You can buy it only at Food Basics. I haven`t been able to find it at other supermarkets. However, Tynkdada is way far better than even wheat semolina spaghett. This white rice is smooth and slippery and tastes way better than the brown rice spaghetti . Way better. It behaves better also. You cook it in boiling water for exactly 22 minutes. Brown rice pasta, you cook it for exactly 12 minutes.
