    Q. What happens if you take too much aleve?

"A few hours passed and the pain was still bad so i took another aleve..."

I was having a bad leg ache and took an Aleve and Aspirin. A few hours passed and the pain was still bad so I took another Aleve. I`ve got myself worried about the precautions it states on the back of the medications, but I`ve only noticed heartburn/slight stomach upset, which could be due to my worrying...as it is the end of my menstral cycle and I suffer from OCD. I guess I just seeking confirmation that I haven`t done anything to hurt myself.

    Q. What happens when you take too many aleve?

"Too much aleve can be harmful..."

Too much Aleve can be harmful. There is a case where overdosing on Motrin caused blindness. Also, kidney damage is possible. Aleve is made of Naproxen and is also an anti inflammatory drug.

    Q. Is it normal for a 20 years old girl to have very painful periods?
this just started happening with my last 3 periods that i've had. my legs go numb, and the pain is at times unbearable. i cry cause it hurts so bad. i get dizzy but not nauseous. i take aleve but it doesnt help and i dont like going to the doctor however i probably should. has anyone else had periods like this?

Although some pain during menstruation is normal, excessive pain is not. Dysmenorrhoea refers to menstrual pain severe enough to limit normal activities or require medication. It may coexist with excessively heavy blood loss (menorrhagia). Endometriosis could be another cause. You should consult with your well woman doctor, and have a pelvic exam. Make sure nothing physically is wrong, and if not, then some medicines will help. I have a Fibroid tumor in my uterus and swelled doing that time and caused extreme pain. There are treatments for this too. Good luck – consult your doctor – very important!!! Check out this website of some good information that may help you.

    Q. It is very unusal to have a headache for 3 or more days ?
i have tryed over the counter drugs nothing works from extra strength tylenol to motrin and aleve and excedrin i have a cabinet full but nothing helps usually motrin but not this time i feel like i'm dying only becase i think my head hurts so bad it's actually starting to drive me nuts.when i bend done i feel dizzy i can't pick up anything from the floor and when i walk i can feel the steps in my head ever experience this?

If you can't get in with your doctor TODAY, go to the emergency room. Not to scare you, but I had the worst headache of my life 8 months ago, ended up in emergency, and got diagnosed with a brain tumor. You need to get a CT Scan NOW. It could be lots of things but may get worse if it's not treated.

    Q. I hit my head on a diving board?
well i went to a public pool and my feet slid out from under me before i jumped and i fell back and slammed the back of my head on it. or so thats how i think it happened i dont remember. all i knew is that i was afraid i was gonna drown in the 10ft water... the lifeguards suck and saw nothing but i have a 3-4 inch long cut from the middle of the back of my head to my neck. its raw and some is beginning to scab over. this happened yesterday. i do not believe that its gonna need stitches or anything but it hurts like crap. even to move my hair hurts. i was just wondering what ppl thought about this or anything to help it heal faster. i have fans now though lol. people thought i was gonna pass out. i thought so too. all i knew is that it hurt and im not sure exactly how it happened but i know my feet slid and i didnt jump. im still dizzy and light headed but not as much as yesterday. but i am taking aleve to help the pain. i had alchol put on it and will probally put peroxide on it. i just i dont want to have to cut my hair cuz its long and thick. the area around the damages is itching a bit now. i also have a raw circle spot plus the 3-4 inch cut. i have to sleep on my stomach. the cut hurts so bad when anything lightly touches.

"I would be concerned though that i was still dizzy after all of that..."

Your head bleeds more than most places of your body. I think it will be fine, I've cut the back of my head lots of times. It will heal faster if you remove the hair around the wound, but I wouldn't mess with that, it will take forever for your hair to grow back. Of course with lots of long hair you would be able to cover it up for the most part. I would be concerned though that I was still dizzy after all of that, you probably have a concussion. If you're vomiting or anything go in and see a doctor. I would be most concerned with the lifeguards that saw or did nothing. They should have been all over you like stink on an outhouse. You should write a letter to the pool's management, explaining to them what happened and didn't happen to the best of your memory and others. Diving boards have been removed from most pools because of the danger involved, so they should have been paying extra attention to it instead of less.

    This answer closely relates to:

      • Does estroven help your hair grow faster?
      • Did any body tried this product velform hair grow and worked with him?

    Q. Do i have gerd?
i get very sick when i stay up late. late as in 5am or 4:30am. i had a friend come over and he wouldn't go to sleep! we stood up all night playing life and monopoly. now i have a sore throat. i thought sleeping a little more (like 5pm-9pm just a nap) would fix it. it didn't. i also burp a lot since i got the sore throat. and i have to pop my ears constantly too. i woke up at 4 in the morning last night, and i couldn't get back to sleep until i drank some water. and then after 3rd period at school today i got really dizzy and needed my friend to help me support myself. but i think that was caused by the aleve i took before school. i took it without food. do i have gerd/gord how do doctors test for it? do i have it? should i be worried? is gerd life threatening? shortening? what should i take? zyrtec? claritan? my friend says that its just allergies. (not the same one that came over). that could be it. but how does that explain the constant burping and ear popping.?

Hi There It all starts with the basics when dealing with any health issues. Intake of water, nutrition, stress, exercise, and cleansing out excess waste and toxic chemicals in the blood stream. You need to educate yourself on these topics, so you can take control of your health. All drugs do is surpress the issue or push the symptom to another part of the body. THe body gives you signals (in this case dizziness, sore throat, and ears popping) to let you know the internal balance isnt correct. Side effects of drugs are not really a serious concern from my point, but even worse is it surpresses the issue deeper down in the body. This is how disease's occur, by surpressing the issue (s). Look closely at the suggestions I make below (look at #4 especially), regardless of the health issue. If you do these steps below, you'll give the body time to heal the issue without having to digest meat. dairy, manmade chemicals, preservatives, etc. Here is a list of important health topics people dont realize or take for granted and thus causes issues. No matter what age you need to have a focus on positivity for a healthy body. Consciously and unconsciously. 1. stress = most of it is self induced. Even thinking and actually talking about negative means you attact more negative energy. Visualize and "Feel" a healthy beautiful body (end result) and you'll have it before you know it. Once the body breaks down from stress then its much easier to get sick or unhealthy for that matter. Obviously exercise helps manages stress tremendously! Remember what you focus on (negative or positive) is what you will attract in your life. This universal law is called "The Law of Attraction". 2. Lack of water. Drink a gallon of distilled water daily to hydrate the body and flush out the excess waste and toxins out of the blood. 3. Nutrition = this helps heal the body and will gives it energy to work on the internal issues. Mainly raw Organic fruit and vegetables. If you only ate organic raw F & V for 7-10 days and drank distilled water you would see a change in energy and be on your way to better health. Letting the body rest from digesting meats, dairy, and processed foods would do wonders for you. FInd a great supplement (superfood) to add to your daily diet. Nutrition is the key to healing any issue. 4. clogged colon = Not eliminating the processed food and chemicals we eat every day will give anyone an illness and/or disease. If doctors we're actually taught this, our society would be much improved. DO a colon cleanse to clear out excess waste and toxins in the blood. This will help heal any illness or disease. ALl the vaccines, anti-biotics, man-made chemicals in food (especially fast food), and air quality can give us all kinds of issues, if the immune system isnt strong enough. Start with the basics and healing will begin rapidly. Best of health to you
