As a Herbalist, and friend of someone who has worked at Herbal Magic for over 5 years, I can tell you that it is a total scam. First, from the business side of things - my friend told me their 'training' and conferences were all about getting sales. Employees are under a LOT of pressure to make sales, and receive most of their income through commissions. They are not educated at all about how the product ingredients or any actual evidence of efficiacy, but rather what to say, and how to make the sale. Although the initial intake meeting with an employee (where they ask you all sorts of health questions and such) may 'seem' that they are professional and knowledgeable, they are not qualified to make any health assessment. If you are on any medication, other herbs, or have a health condition, they have no training or knowledge to know if there would be any contraindications with their products. As for the quality of their magic weight loss pills - it's been years since I looked at a bottle, but I remember at the time that there was nothing in there that would help with weight loss, except for at least 1 diuretic, which is NOT the way to go. I also recall the quality of the herbs in those pills were absolute garbage. I recall the program was a few hundred per month, and that you could pay more than that for extra products that they would try to slip in during sign up, much like car salesmen try to sleaze you into extra insurance, undercoating and such after you have made the deal but right before you write them a cheque:/ I'm sorry I'm not answering any of your questions.
