I also experience that one many times and it is just the consequence of sleeping at an irregular position like when your arm is sandwich between your body and your bed, the circulation of your blood is deficient causing slow function to your nerves. When there is no blood, the message relay from your senses to your brain slows down so you couldn`t feel your arms and if you hold it, it feels like your holding somebody`s arms.
