"local pickup" on an ebay item i just bought, help please someone!!? ok so i am not an ebay wizz i've only bought 2 things off of there in the past, i just bought a new phone, a blackberry storm it's quite nice and i was excited to get such a good deal but then after i won the item i look and it says under the shipping "free shipping- local pickup"
so i'm like oh my god it's local pickup the people selling the item live in los angeles i live in minneapolis, but then under it it's all talking about the estimated delivery time, and i've seen local pickup but it normally says local pickup only and it's usually for things you can't really ship like cars or a bed, this is a phone?
so i just don't get what's going on and the seller isn't messaging me back.
some ebay expert please help me
Ask them to ship it nicely. Say you will pay for shipping only like $5-$10

Q. What phone should i get? (see question)? my contract with t-mobile is up in a few days and i am having a really hard time deciding on what phone i should get. i have been shopping around different carriers and can't decide what i want. right now i run my own business so i enjoy using my blackberry 8820, it's a great business phone and helps me keep organized. i would like to switch to at&t and either get the blackberry bold or the iphone. i'm complacent about the iphone since i already have an itouch, but the itouch has better megapixels on the camera (3.2 vs 2.0). i was also looking in verizon, i really like the tour but verizon doesn't have sim cards so god forbid if anything happens to it i would have to pay factory price for a replacement since i cant just buy another off ebay. i also heard that blackberry is coming out with the storm 2 and something else so i'm not sure if i should just wait around for those. i was wondering if there is a policy where if a new phone comes out within a certain time frame you can just trade in your recently purchased phone for the new model. if you have had experience with any of these phones or maybe you have with both and decided on another for any reason it would be a great deal of help. thank you all in advance for your time.
oh btw;; i'm not looking into getting the storm, i don't like the model.
I think that you should go with Verizon, they have way better service coverage, and they also sell Blackberry's! (:
