Two days ago I tried to pull a peep of an avocado with my little knife, and it was a little stuborn, so I push the knife a little deeper with strenght, I guess it was too much...the knife went through the avocado and a couple of inches in the palm of my left hand; immediately, I started to lose sensation (numbness) of my middle finger (left hand). After the accident, I developed a shooting electric pain in the left arm which gets worst when the shoots end in the middle left finger, all of these shooting electric pains happens when I try to strecht my arm down, so my arm must remain up-high at this moment. Question: Will my nerves heal nicely and how long will it take to heal? What am I expecting now?

I cut my thumb in half while cooking in class. They gave me 8 stiches and told me to come back in 11 days. The thumb is turning colors as I have kept it clean and washed. How can u tell if it is getting better, when u cant feel the missing limb anymore?
