What are most teas made of,
Do you think the leaves are going to be perfectly dried without mold before it is shredded for consumption,
There will be mold,
at least always expect mold.
If you are not boiling your tea (steeping in boiling water)
and getting unexplained (Doctors unable to diagnose)
kidney pains it is probably the mold in the tea.
Never use a coffee maker to make tea,
the boiled water does not stay hot long enough to kill the mold.
To make Ice tea,
boil it first like any pot of tea and then chill.
You may notice black specs floating on the surface edge of unboiled ice tea,
Try for yourself,
two jugs of ice tea (same tea product),
one pre-boiled and the other just tossing tea bags into the jug of water as most people do and then compare.
The pre-boiled tea will not have the black specs,
eliminating the possibility of leaf dust.
Something to consider.
