Yes, there is not reason you can not eat after a "deep cleaning"`. Only real concern would be if your tongue or lip is numb to be careful not to bite them. It is very important to keep your month clean (brush 2x day and floss daily) for the next few weeks though if you want to get the most out of the time and money you put into the cleaning. The most healing will happen in that time period. Then be sure to keep up after that and with your future professional cleanings. Good luck to you.
