Q. Can i still use my canadian visa,it will expired on december 13,2010? i recieve my canadian working visa last december 2008. and now i plan to use it after my contract this june,and it will be expired on december 13,2010. is it possible for me to use it that time?
In actual fact, last December was 2009, not 2008. This year is 2010. If your visa is valid for entry until December 13, 2010 you can use it until that date. However, if your visa expires then, it won't leave you much time in Canada if you have to be out by Dec 13 this year.

i'm american and i'll be going to school in ottawa in the fall of 2010. but my friend who already goes there offered me to come live there with her in her apartment until i do go to school- because i just can't find a job here (the economy sucks, everyone knows).

there is a recession here in canada too - very high UNEMPLOYMENT - and Canadians will always be hired first over foreigners such as yourself.
wait until you have finished your course and graduated, and then you will be skilled enough to get a work permit.
If you apply for a study visa you cannot come into Canada any earlier than 1 month before class starts.

The visa expiration date is the last date on which you can travel to Canada and seek entry to stay as tourist. For how long you may stay depends on the determination of a Canadian Border Services Officer.
If your entry stamp is not endorsed with a date of stay you may stay in Canada for six months from the date of entry, regardless when your visa expires.

I would lessen the burden and seek advice from the Atlanta Consul Generals office, but as a visitor to the U.S you have documents to return and with your Indian passports and can enter Canada, as for visitors permits, I would check with the local office, as a member of the British Commonwealth Indian citizens have a few more advantages with entry, but some do need a clearance paper.
Save yourself the hassle of having to wait in Niagara Falls NY for the clearance visa, do it now and have it done when you are home and then when you are crossing the border have your Indian passports and papers ready for th Canadian Border Patrol and then it will be fine and not issues should arise.

I think you are ok, but you really need to contact immigration to find out. You will find their toll free number on their website. They are available Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., your local time, except for statutory holidays. Best of luck.
