I am starting herbal life today. in what order do i follow the diet plan and name some healthy meals i can eat i drank a shake this morning and i was going to drink one for lunch then have a sensible dinner. should i substitute the shake for dinner or lunch first of all? also i have heard to eat chicken or fish. i need some ideas to not get bored with eating that. what other dishes are healthy? also what kind of snacks should i take to work instead of the chips and candy i normaly take? any advice is appreciated.

I'm doing the herbal life diet, and i have a question, any help? u know how u can do the milk shake in replace of a meal? or just a regular meal? well i understand all that, but i forgot to ask them how many times i can eat a day? because everything they gave me seemed to be referring to eating 3 times a day but i have to eat at least 4..does any one know how many times a day ur supposed to eat with herbal life?
If you are doing the shakes then you have two shakes and one full meal. I suggest you to stop the shakes because they will give nauceas in no time. Well, the pills and the salads are ok so I would say eat three times a day and do the pills.

Herbal life diet? i have been on the herbal life diet for a while now and have only lost two kilograms. however i get hungry in between the two shakes and end up eating. the problem isnt so much that im hungry but that i crave salty food or something savoury since herbal life is relatively sweet also i sometimes have the 250ml milk but also mix in a fat free yougurt or double the milk dosage in the mixture to fill me up of i find i get hungry sooner. please help does anyone have any helpful suggestions for me i am 1,64m tall and weigh round 55kg id just like to lose 5 kgs. please all suggestions are welcome.
This is a very dumb diet. It is basically a starvation system. They have lots of soy in their products and are high carb, low fat. This makes you crave their foods and it is regulated so that you will lose weight, but through starvation, not good healthy dieting. They are in the business of dieting, not educating you so you won't be dependent upon them; they want you as a customer for life.
Carbohydrates are like the kindling on a fire, short amount of energy, but not lasting. Fats are where the body gets sustained energy that lasts. You need to understand what are good fats and bad fats. You need to eat fat to lose fat. Go buy the book called, "Life Without Bread" by Christian Allan, Ph.D. and read it cover to cover. This will give you some incite into what good dieting can do for you. If you are eating fat free products, you are not only starving your body of nutrients it desperately needs, but damaging it along the way.
Herbal Life is a scam. By the way, the low fat yogurt you are eating has about 27 grams of sugar. More carbs.

Personally I don't think a product that has been packaged by the millions in a factory, even if it's guaranteed freshness, is better then fresh ingredients. Seriously, what could be better then something grown and fresh from the garden?

you put some liquid in your water to keep you from retaining water.
they you take one pill for fiber, one for vitamins, and one for something else. and a shake in the morning.
its $100 and this person told me it works and you will lose the weight!!
of course you have to eat salads and healthy foods and workout.
she actually did lose weight!

I also know people for whom this has worked, however how scientifically reliable it is I am not sure.
Have you heard of the "Placebo Effect." Most such alternative ways of weight loss work on this phenomenon. You spend a few 100 dollars on buying these products, it increases your will power to lose weight as you don't want to waste that money, further it sets a routine and you follow it again with two aims this wont work if I don't make an effort. Hence, it will work and you will give all the credit to the product and not yourself. If I were in your place I'd try to build the same will power and go for it without any such external aid. This way you will be able to maintain the weight loss and be happy!!! and I think thats should be the most important aim of your life :)

Is it safe to be on herbal life while pregnant??? im 7 months and am getting alot of shit from my doctor on my? weight gain but i cant seem to control it this is my first pregnancy so i have no experience in this before.. i feel desperate to at least try to keep the same weight for the rest of the time i have pregnant.. dr said its ok not to gain any more weight.. but he wont refer me to a dietician or anything.. im stressed out.. help me please.. i need a diet or something to follow.. not just tell me to eat healthy.. thanks!!!!!!
NO, you cannot take Herbalife while pregnant, or any other diet aids for that matter.
Keep a food journal for the next week or so, see if there is anything you can cut out. You might be eating more than you realize, it's very easy to do that esp. during pregnancy.
Try taking a 20-30 minute walk after dinner, that might also help. Make sure you're drinking mainly water and keep the juice/sweet drinks to a max of one per day.

Q. Adverse reaction to renew life herbal cleanse, angular chelitis, or hsv? a couple of weeks ago i started taking the renew life organic total body cleanse 3. about a week into it, i began to suffer extreme diarrhea. when i bought the product, the woman at the retailer told me to decrease the number of pills that i was taking if i were to suffer diarrhea and i did. about 10 days into the program, i began a breakout around my mouth similar to fever blisters and i stopped taking the product. i have never suffered cold sores or fever blisters and decided to do some research. after reading and looking at many pics, i noticed that the lesion in the extreme corner of my mouth was exactly like an angular cheilitis pic. i used a home remedy to treat what i perceived to be angular chelitis and everything seemed to be healing just find until i ate an enormous amount of trail mix yesterday and now i am showing new bumps around the same area of my mouth. i do not have unprotected sex. could the extreme diarrhea cause malnutrition that could have led angular chelitis? could hsv be spread by the hands meeting vaginal fluids, breasts, and the hands inadvertently being exposed to the mouth?
Consults your doctor for advise, and if possible ask him/her to allow you for a lab test, and in so doing you will know the exact medication to go for.
