If you find jenny Craig too expensive, why not try Nutrisystem? They don`t make you sign a contract and it is slightly cheaper. Othere than that you can save a lot of money if you go to the supermarket and buy a large variety of frozen dinners and make sure the calorie content is under 300. There are dozens of varieties so you won`t get bored with them. Make that your rule. Frozen dinners at around 300 calories. Then, just add to that an extra large salad with a lot of low carb vegetables like green onions, red peppers, celery, cucumber and tomatoes. Then top that off with a fat free dressing. There is your diet for lunch and dinner. 600 calories. Then add on a low calorie breakfast and $6.00 plus your salads, per day you have your diet. what everyone needs to understand is that jenny craig is fit for diffrent peoples. Everyones needs are diffrent and met diffrently at Jenny craig. One person can spend only 50.00 and another can spend up to about 150.00. The best thing to do is just to call a center and get booked with an program director. Its free and no obilgations. depends on the medication. some anti-biotics can disrupt the digestive system and kill good bacteria. This can result in a loose stall (diarreah) which i have experienced and ive hear others have vomitted. However, most likely it`ll give you diarreah or nothing will happen.

I lost 40 lbs on Jenny Craig, but left because I got soooo sick of the food...it`s great if you only need to lose 50 lbs or less, but more than that, you are on their food for a long time. I left, and gained it all back and then some, because they don`t want you to eat regular food, they want you to eat their food forever....

You can do your own Jenny Craig. Just buy TV dinners with 350 calories and the prewashed baby greens for a salad to go with it. For breakfast and lunch, keep away from the carbs and just eat meat with a salad.

I am on week one of Jenny Craig myself, it costs me about $160 a week for all the food, plus about $30 a week for store bought stuff, like milk, fruit and salad in order to add to the Jenny program as free stuff. s plan is good for a single person but when I was living with someone, I found it would be too expensive as he ate different foods so we had to shop too more. I do have to say that this is day 4 of my first week and I have not diliked any food yet. Convenenient and good portion, starting to feel good, not so bloated.......I am glad I decided to join, so easy and stess free and easy to prepare.

Because Jenny Craig is prepackaged frozen food by and large, you might get tired of it after a month or two. I would try to alternate between the Jenny Craig diet and salads with fat free dressing along with lean meat. If you do one day Jenny Craig and one day salad and meat, you will look forward to the change and not get tired of the same thing. Jenny Craig does have a wide variety of meals, so you will have a lot of change. You can also alternate days using ``Lean Cuisine`` with a large side salad, again with fat free dressing.
