You can cut them in half if they are not the extended release tablets. If they are the regular which are orange or peach colored and scored (an indentation on one side to know where to cut in half) then you can cut them in half. I got this answer from a pharmacist.

Naproxen is the same thing as Alieve. Over the counter pain pills don`t have a negative interaction with antibiotics. They are even recommended by doctors for children with ear infections and such.
